BONSAI UTOPIA SS24 SHOW
Held in Via Ferrante Aporti 25, in an old tunnel near the central station of Milan, Bonsai’s first show was focused on creating an entire experience.
A group of dancers, have danced at rhythm of a music with tribal references while they were wearing some pieces of the collection.
Bonsai’s goal is to exit from the standard canons of a normal show,but to give back a mood inspired by the collection to the people that are watching it trough the emotions.

“When things happen, things get stolen"
Things stolen takes the idea from our claim “Make things happen”, it takes irony and play around an unluckily event that happened to us in September. We have been stolen of the collection of FW22 from our warehouse. Without losing time we have decided to take the best from that negative event, launching this capsule as sign of our vision of looking always forward the future with our identity.
“Nature understood as something that gives life and influences our environment, Nature as integration, as something that is for everyone”.
This project has been made in harmony with Agriverde, a social cooperative that works with the people, for the people, based in the countryside of Bologna. The cooperative is aimed by guys with disabilities that put their love and passion into the products processing, with the results of fresh and tasty fruits and vegetables.
The idea born from the inspiration of our FW22, duality between human and his environment. Fashion and nature, two world apparently different but in perfect harmony together.

BONSAI BREAD COME FROM A PARTNERSHIP/FRIENDSHIP WITH A SPECIAL LOCAL BAKERY BASED IN BOLOGNA CALLED @BREADBYMADRE, MADE OF YOUNG GUYS WORKING ON SOURDOUGH, WHOLEMEAL FLOUR A KM 0 AND MANY HOURS OF FERMENTATION.
WHIT THIS PROJECT WE WANT TO RECONNECT TWO WORLD APPARENTLY DIFFERENT BUT IN PERFECT HARMONY TOGETHER. DUALITY BETWEEN FASHION AND FOOD, MAN AND NATURE, THAT’S OUR TOPIC OF FW22.

THIS PROJECT HAS STARTED AT THE BEGINNING OF LOCKDOWN TO INVOLVE OUR COMMUNITY SHARING THEIR POINT OF VIEW IN DIFFERENT TOPICS OF DAILY LIFE.
WHILE WE STAY POSITIVE AT HOME, THE LOCKDOWN GIVE US THE OPPURTUNITY TO EMBRACE THE CONCEPT THAT REST, RECOVERY AND REFLECTION ARE ESSENTIAL PARTS OF THE PROGRESS. THAT’S WHY SOCIAL DISTANCING DOESN’T MEAN WE ARE MENTALLY DISCONNECT.
